Printer offline, print jobs stuck or nothing happening when you press Print? TechTrust helps connect home printers to your computer, phone or tablet and works through common printing problems during a home visit.
Tell us whether the printer has ever worked on this device and whether you recently changed your modem, Wi-Fi name or computer. We can check the connection, printer software and selected printer, then test printing with you. A connection problem and a mechanical fault need different solutions.
How we can help
- Set up a compatible new home printer and install manufacturer software.
- Reconnect a wireless printer after a modem or Wi-Fi change.
- Investigate offline messages, stuck print jobs and device connection settings.
- Set up supported printing from a computer, iPhone, iPad or Android device and test the result.
Before your visit
Have the printer model, power cable, paper and compatible ink or toner ready. Keep the computer or phone you want to print from nearby. Do not factory-reset the printer before we discuss the issue; note any error message.
What this service covers
This service covers setup, software and connection troubleshooting. Ink, toner and replacement equipment are not included. Mechanical damage, persistent paper-feed faults or failed components may need a printer repair specialist.
Home visits and pricing
A standard visit is AU$149, including the call-out and the first hour. Additional time is AU$32.50 per 30 minutes, discussed before proceeding.
We visit homes in Ballina, Lennox Head, Byron Bay, Ocean Shores, Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby and nearby Northern Rivers communities. Evening and weekend appointments are available by arrangement.

Your printer may still be trying to use the previous Wi-Fi network or saved connection settings. We can check the new network and reconnect compatible devices. If the printer displays a hardware error, it may need a different assessment.
